'Women and Children Die First' is the follow up to their 2001 debut album, 'She Looks So Good In Red'. After steady touring around the US in support of 'She looks so good...' Remembering Never spent the fall of 2003 in a garage reworking their sound as well as their outlook.
'Women and Children...' takes a huge step for the band lyrically. With 'She looks so good...' singer Pete K. Delved deep into his own head and churned out gut-wrenching personal lyrics. Having conquered their inner demons Remembering Never are taking on the world this time around. Hitting topics like vegan/vegatarianism, drug addiction, politics, war, etc.
Musically 'Women and Children...' shows the maturity gained after months on the road, and the frusteration with a world at war.. the record is heavier and faster; an altogether brutal final product that will force you to move.
